Our March Break Camp is always a fun time for any child. Morning activities are focused on the martial arts training and character building skills. Our afternoons are spent on a different daily activity such as: bowling, mini-golf, movies, and Ontario Science Centre. Our Summer Camp is one of our more popular events. With our daily activities it is hard to imagine any child not having fun. All our morning activities are focused on the martial arts training (weapons, sparring, forms, bully proofing). Our afternoons are spent on a different daily activity such as: bowling, mini-golf, movies, wild water kingdom and Ontario Zoo. Our annual BBQ is a pot luck event where all members can invite their friends and family to experience what AIMA Is all about. With tasty food supplied by our members, it gives us an opportunity to taste the authentic foods of each cultures home cooked meals Of course lots not forget the fun and games as well. The theme every year at the BBQ is to "try to stay dry" as we always end off the event with a crazy water fight. This is truly an event you don't want to miss.
Once a year we fly in our top instructors from across Canada to offer some classes for its members. It is always an honor to welcome Amang Guro Vicente Ferrer (7th Degree Black Belt) to teach our classes. This event is only open to AIMA Members and space is limited.
In December we host our Annual Awards Night. This is a chance for us to recognize some of the outstanding work that our members have done over the year. There are many awards to hand out and lots of door prizes.
This event is a chance for kids to be kids. To put away your Gi and breakout your favourite costume. This event is a great time for all ages as there are lots of candy, pumpkins to carve and games for everyone.
Movie nights are open to AIMA members and friends. Keeping it all PG of course, kids can't seem to take their eyes off the screen. With popcorn, drinks and good company, you can't go wrong.
